Premade Brand Packages: What They Are, What They Cost, and How to Make One Actually Feel Like Yours

Yes, premade brand packages exist, and if you're a small business owner trying to look professional without a five figure branding budget, they might be exactly what you need. I build these myself at Wild Mondays, so I want to walk you through what a good one actually includes, what you should expect to pay, and how customization works so the final result doesn't feel like a template with your name slapped on it.

What a premade brand package actually is

A premade brand package is a brand identity that's been designed in advance, usually around a specific aesthetic or industry, then made available for a business owner to purchase and customize. Instead of starting from a blank page, you're starting from a fully designed system: logo suite, color palette, typography, and often social templates or a style guide.

The key word is customizable. A premade package worth buying isn't a locked file with your name typed over someone else's. It's a real design system built with flexibility in mind, so your colors, your fonts, and your business name integrate into it properly instead of just sitting on top of it.

What a complete package should include, at minimum:

  • A logo suite, not just a single logo file (multiple lockups for different uses)

  • A social media profile image sized and ready to use

  • A defined color palette

  • A brand guide showing how everything fits together

  • Business card design

  • A round or two of design changes built in, so it's not locked the second you buy it

  • Files delivered as .pdf, .jpeg, and .png, so you can use the brand anywhere without asking your designer to re-export something later

What it usually doesn't include, and shouldn't be expected to at this price point:

  • A built out brand strategy session

  • A fully custom logo concept built from scratch for your business

  • Unlimited revisions or design changes to the core system

That distinction matters because it's what keeps premade packages affordable. You're paying for design work that's already been done well, not for a designer to start from zero and iterate through concepts with you.

What affordable actually looks like

At Wild Mondays, premade brand packages typically run around $500. That covers the full logo suite, color palette, brand guide, business card design, and two rounds of design changes if needed once your name and colors are in place. It's a real design system, not a single file with your business name typed over someone else's.

If you're comparing options elsewhere, look past the price tag and check what's actually included. A budget package that's just a logo file is a different purchase than one that includes a full color and font system, a brand guide, and business collateral. Ask specifically what files you'll receive and in what formats, since that affects whether you can actually use the brand across your website, packaging, and social platforms without running into problems.

Add ons worth asking about if you want to go further than the base package: additional design changes beyond what's included, a full website design and build, social media templates, and packaging design. These aren't part of a standard premade package, but a lot of studios, mine included, can build them on once the core brand is finalized.

Who premade packages are right for

Premade brand packages make the most sense if:

  • You need to launch or rebrand quickly

  • Your business concept is fairly straightforward to communicate visually

  • You're comfortable with a designed aesthetic that already exists, adjusted to fit you

  • Budget is a real constraint right now, not a preference

They're not the right fit if your business has a complicated positioning story that needs strategic thinking baked into the visual identity, or if you want a mark that's built entirely around your specific brand from the ground up. That's when custom work earns its price difference.

What to check before you buy one

A few questions worth asking any studio selling premade packages, mine included:

  1. What file formats do I actually get, and can I use them for print as well as digital?

  2. How much customization is included before additional fees kick in?

  3. Is the design exclusive to me once purchased, or could another business buy the same one?

  4. What's the turnaround time from purchase to final files?

That third one matters more than people think. At Wild Mondays, every premade brand is sold once and only once. Once it's yours, it's off the market for good, so you're never going to run into another business with the same logo.

The process itself is simple. If you see a brand you love, you reach out through my contact form. From there, the brand gets updated to fit your business name, and once that's set, we tweak the logos together from there based on what you need. Premade doesn't mean instant, since there's still a short production window to properly customize the files to your business, but it's a much faster turnaround than a fully custom build from scratch.
